Tym(E))) One of the more interesting finds on bandcamp for me. Fields Of Mildew aren't doing anything intricately groundbreaking here but what they ARE doing is some VERY emotive minimalist acoustic work.

The vocals twist, wisp, harmonize and turn through the acoustic passages creating an ethereal experience that is awe-inspiring in its simplicity.

Combine that with the stark, poignant cover art from I, II, and III and you have a triple threat of dark acoustic sweetness. All three not to be missed for sure.......

Favorite track: Mildew.

Fields of Mildew Worpswede, Germany

Fields of Mildew is inspired by the area around the "Teufelsmoor" with a conceptual focus on the late 19th/early 20th century rural life: The people, their work in the fields, superstition and close relation to local tales as well as dire straits - disease, famine, child death. ... more
